Tupac Yupanqui Palace Hotel is part of the large lot that used to be known as PUCAMARCA, located in the HANAN Q'OSQO or the High Cuzco. It was the Tupac Yupanqui Inca, grandson and successor of the Great PACHACUTEQ who ordered the construction of his palace, building majestic walls of stone to delimit his residence. Later, when the Spaniards arrived to the area, the noble conqueror Don Pedro de Barco who was in charge of Cuzco's Town Council, became the owner of the palace.
